Ashish Acharya, MD joined Dallas ID Associates in 2006 and has more than 20 years of experience providing compassionate, patient-centric care. He is passionate about treating patients with complex infectious issues with an emphasis on hospitalized patients.
Education:
He grew up in the DFW area and attended Rice University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Biology in 1995. He completed medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 1999 and finished his Internal Medicine internship and residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2002. He pursued infectious diseases fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and completed his training in 2005.
